Tips for visiting Walt Disney World during a birthday!
Oh Birthdays at Walt Disney World! Possibly my favorite time of the year to visit the parks. Something to note is that no matter the date, if you are having a birthday trip, Disney will celebrate it. Even if your birthday is in May and you are going in December, they will celebrate it! There is so much to do and so much to eat! Here are my top tips to visiting the Disney parks while on your birthday... or birthday trip.
Plan It Ahead
When reserving your trip, be sure to mention it. If you are booking online, I would call the hotel and tell them to note that you are celebrating a birthday in the party. They will prepare an in room special surprise! When booking restaurant reservations make sure to note that it is someones birthday. If you are booking the reservation online, I suggest calling as well, that way they can set up a table surprise! If you are feeling extra special, you can even plan a wide variety of gift basked and packages to be sent to your room.
Grab that Birthday Button
The best tips when visiting the parks in general is to say that it is your birthday! As soon as you are on Disney property make sure to say it and receive a complementary Disney button! That way, cast members will be saying happy birthday as much as they can and will also be making special surprises for birthday people throughout the day!
Make A Special Dinner Reservation
For adult guests, the perfect dinner location include California Grill, Shula's Steakhouse, Citricos, and Victoria & Alberts. For guests traveling with a birthday princess, the perfect dinner location is Cinderella's Royal Table and Be Our Guest. For guest traveling with a birthday pirate, Topolinos Terrace and Hollywood Vine & Dine are amazing options!
Book a special experience
For Adults: I recommend a day at the spa! The best on site spa has to be at the Grand Floridian, called Sesnes. Making a reservation there for a relaxing day is a must for guests visiting on their birthday
For Princesses: Make a reservation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where girls are transformed into their favorite Disney princess!
For Pirates: Boys can be transformed into a daring pirate at The Pirates League
