Fall at Walt Disney World is complicated. Tourists from all over the world come to the parks expecting it to be decked out in fall decor. Well, in reality, Fall at Walt Disney World is only seen at Main Street USA at Magic Kingdom, oh and of course in the merchandise. Want to get those picture perfect fall moments? Well, you are the one that is going to have to bring that element to the parks. I put together a vibrant look with a fall twist for Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios.
The Unedited Cut:
Well, let me tell yall how much I love pumpkin things: I bought this hat before even knowing that I was coming to the parks, and when I found out, this was the first outfit I chose. I had ordered these orange faded jeans from Topshop and I knew that matching it with a neon sports bra would be the move. Now even though I love being bold and reckless, it isnt enough to wear just a sports bra, for this reason I bought a see through mesh shirt from Zara and it was the perfect mixture.
The Scenery and Poses:
I knew that the perfect area to mix the orange and neon in my outfit was the playful land of Toy Story Land. It was so much fun matching with the background yet being able to contrast it. I wanted to do a couple of shots that were focused on the hat itself and then we played around with full outfit shots. I personally ended up liking the full outfit shots compared to the facial shots. The poses were simple, I did slow walking poses and some pointing up toward my ears. This land truly made my outfit pop and was the easiest area to take pictures at.
This shoot required the typical fixing of the small details without going too over board. I fixed the lights, the vibrance, and the colors to make sure that they balance each other out.
This project was made possible in collaboration with Jorge Martinez who was the photographer for this shoot. He always has the patience and the time to work with me as I get my pose, outfits, and makeup together.
