My Favorite Rides at Epcot
I know that planning your trip to Walt Disney World can be a pretty complicated task. You can see on a lot of different websites a super set out plan of what you should do and how to get there and what times and so forth. I have been planning trips for people for about four years and I have learned that absolutely every case is different. Some are traveling with kids and dont want to do rider swap while others are not looking for baby rides at all. For that reason I decided to rather talk about my favorite rides rather than making a plan. Before going into my favorites rides, I want to go into some keep concepts
For every single ticket that you buy, you get three fastpasses per day for one park. These give you a time period and you need to go to the ride at the very specific given time frame. This allows you to enjoy the parks and go almost worry free. Now if you are staying at one of the Disney Hotels then you can reserve up to 60 days in advanced and if you are not then you can reserve 30 days in advanced. I know that staying at a Disney Hotels allows people to get the tier one attractions such as Pandora's flight of Passage and Seven Dwarfs mine train. You can learn more about fast passes here and more about hotels here and tickets here.
If a child does not meet the height requirement or a Guest does not wish to board a particular attraction, then one adult can wait with the non-rider or a group of riders while the rest of the party gets on the attraction. When the other adult returns, they can supervise the non-riding Guests, and the waiting adult can board the attraction without having to wait in line. To get this service approach the cast member at the given attraction and explain the case.
Tours give you the flexibility to jump from park to park or attraction to attraction based on the tour that you choose. You can learn a lot about the tours and the different categories by clicking here. I personally have taken the VIP Tour and it has been probably one of the best experiences ever, we got to ride about seventeen rides and it was only in seven hours!
This is my favorite ride in the park. Disney partnered with Cheverlot to create the most perfect atmosphere for the car lovers. You get to design your own vehicle and then put it to the test. It is a crowd favorite. Some people get fast pass but here since the fast pass system works different which you can learn about that here . I opt to go through the single rider line since it is a lot faster.
This is one of my family's favorite. You are lifted up in a chair in the sky and fly over various countries
You honestly feel, see, and smell all the different areas. It is such a unique experience. I recommend heading here first to get on the attraction when park opens. The height requirement for this ride is 40 inches or 102 centimeters. Please keep in mind that if anyone in your party in afraid of heights, you will be lifted up into the air with your feet dangling over.
Frozen Ever After
This ride is known for the amount of wait time it gets. It has reached to be up to about five hours. I highly recommend getting a fast pass here if you are able to. And if not, run here. It fills up the most. It is not a kid attraction but rather you get to admire the amount of effort and creation put into making the animatronics in the ride. Any height and age can get on this ride!
This is my moms favorite and well I now have it memorized. You get to see how the world has progressed and at the very end you get to make your future. I suggest going to this as a fast pass since the options are kind of weird, learn more about that here Any height can get on this ride, however, please keep in mind that this ride will be closed for refurbishment starting May 24th, 2020.
The Seas with Nemo and Friends
For all the sea friendly friends out there, this ride is for you. You get to see a huge aquarium right after the ride is over. It is so interactive and very neat. You do not necessarily need a fast pass for this ride, I would suggest to use it on something else. The wait here is normally max thirty minutes. There is not height requirement for this but please keep in mind that for this ride the queue is moving however it can be stopped for people needing special assistance.
The Other Rides
My Personal Take
I am not a huge fan of the other rides. I do have to say that if it is a priority for you to meet Mickey and Minnie do so at this park it has the smallest wait times and is rather quickly in the process. I also recommend that if you are going to want to watch the fireworks, make a reservation after your other three fast passes are up!
