Cinderella Inspired Disney Bound
Updated: Jan 5, 2020
The Walt Disney Parks rules and regulations are rather stricter for adult costumes than they are for children. In fact, people over the age of 14 years old are not allowed to enter the Walt Disney World parks with a costume. For this matter, Disney fans have invented Disney bounding. But what exactly is the famous Disney bounding? Well, it is using every day clothes inspired from ones favorite Disney characters. For this look I got directly inspired by Cinderella herself. This was the outfit I used to go dine at Cinderella's Royal Table.
The Unedited Cut:
The Edited Cut:
To create the actual outfit, one has to picture what Cinderella would typically wear. She uses styles with variety of light blues. For this reason, I went ahead and chose a light blue dress from Sandro. Sandro is a Parisian brand that typically makes light weight and trendy clothing. I absolutely fell in love with the dress as soon as I saw the texture of the sleeves and form of the dress. As for a top coat, I dug out a old Cinderella coat that I had from when I was little. The different color blue perfectly contrasts with the dress. Cinderella is not one to pile on so much accessories, for this reason I decided to add only a small tiara instead of the pearls.
The Scenery and Poses:
I used the Grand Floridian to my advantage. The white of the hotel was going to be the perfect contrast and fit to the shoot. I did a lot of different poses to make sure that the shoot was fitting in together. I played around with the dress a lot to get flow and elegant pictures.
This shoot required the typical fixing of the small details without going too over board. I fixed the lights, the vibrance, and the colors to make sure that they balance each other out.
This project was made possible in collaboration with Jorge Martinez who was the photographer for this shoot. He always has the patience and the time to work with me as I get my pose, outfits, and makeup together.
